If you've spent any time at Fort Worth Barber Shop since we’ve moved to our new Near Southside location, you've probably noticed that we care a lot about music. We talk about hi-fi sound, spin records and invest in quality speakers because we believe sound deserves the same level of care as everything else we do.

"Hi-fi" is short for "high fidelity," which simply means reproducing music as accurately as possible. The goal is to hear sounds the way the artist, producers and engineers intended it to be heard when it was recorded.

One of the easiest ways to think about it is this: watching a movie on your phone and watching the same movie in a theater tells the same story, but the experience is completely different. You notice details, depth, emotion, and texture in the theater that you simply can't experience on a small screen. Hi-fi audio works the same way.
